Ferrino

Ferrino started building tents when the US was still cleaning up from the Civil War. Started in a small storefront in Torino (Turin), Italy as a supplier of waterproof fabrics, Cesare Ferrino was working on improving his fabric coatings whle we were trying to outlaw carpetbaggers. 140 years later, Ferrino tents still lead the way for alpinists like Reinhold Messner, Maurizion Zappa and Nadia Tiraboschi. Tested and proven at Ferrino's "High Lab", their testing site high on the slopes of Monte Rosa, Italy's highest mountain at 4,634 M, these tents, sleeping bags and rucksacks have stood up to the worst the mountains can throw at them.
This heritage trickles down throughout their line of products and is reflected in the attention to detail and innovative features that is so apparent in their packs and sleeping bags as well.
