A Look Inside the 2023 Myorcan Expansion
Like all the uber-classic Myorcan shapes, the 2023 Myorcan Expansion Pack is inspired by the flowstone calcite drips that form on some of the world’s best limestone crags—Kalymnos and Leonidio in Greece, Catalonia in Spain, Tonsai Beach in Thailand, and the deep water soloing haven of Mallorca. These formations produce holds ranging from fingertip pinches up to giant tufas spanning hundreds of vertical feet. In this 2023 pack, we went big—and then went even bigger—with 10 new holds in sizes 6, 7, and 8.

Although there are only 10 new shapes, they deliver a whopping 23 feet of climbing surface. Here’s a quick tour of each set:
2023 Myorcan Sets
Myorcan Giant Rails
Five towering tufas—tall, narrow, and long—ranging from sloping on both sides to incut on both sides. Similar to our Myorcan Tufas II but 3–4× longer, these rails force unique foot-pinch sequences.
Dimensions: 30″–32″ long, 3″–4.5″ wide
Myorcan Protrusions
Three bulging tufas with wide radii and deep incuts—use them as buckets or rotate them for a pumpy challenge.
Dimensions: 11″–14″ long, 16″–19.5″ wide
Myorcan Super Tufa
The largest, most positive shape—multiple grip options across twin columns. One side offers sweet spots; the other is juggy on any angle.
Dimensions: 36″ long, 10.5″ wide
Myorcan Giant Tufa
A wide-grip tufa pinch that’s flat to slightly incut—perfect for moderate slabs to steep overhangs, delivering a wicked pump.
Dimensions: 34″ long, 5″ wide
