Salary Range $38,000-$45,000 DOE

 

 

SUMMARY

 

This position is an essential link between our customers, reps, and management teams. Responsibilities include supporting our Territory Manager and providing outstanding service and communication to our existing dealers while developing and implementing marketing and sales support tools to leverage these dealers and potential new accounts. This position is also expected to become the technical product expert in GTHI brand products.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

CUSTOMER SERVICE

  • This position calls for regular, close communication with customers, dealers, sales management, Territory Managers, marketing and other operational staff to get orders delivered to the dealer’s satisfaction. This includes:

    • Works towards sales goals set by the Director of Sales, to be reviewed monthly, quarterly, and annually

    • Work with Territory Managers to research and target new accounts through networking and internet searches

    • Coordinate with Territory Managers to implement sales programs in conjunction with Director of Sales that will drive incremental and profitable sales volume for the brand

    • Adhere to sales, travel, and marketing budgets as provided by the Director of Sales

    • Track sales/service calls with daily reporting to maintain all customer information and contact history in the CRM database

    • Actively leverage knowledge of competitors and customers to enhance competitiveness and ability to grow market share

    • Manage the sales order process for GTHI dealers, gyms, consumers, and pro purchase orders and returns.

       

      DEALER SERVICES

  • Prioritize entering all dealer orders accurately generated within 24 hours of receipts and orders confirmed to customer via the customer’s preferred communication method. This includes pre-season as well as ASAP orders and all promo orders that support sales to dealers.

    • Requires clear knowledge of inventory and availability levels

    • Requires knowing account details intimately in order to appropriately service and maintain account relationship

    • Technical proficiency in running appropriate sales reports needed for order operation functions (to include open orders, backorders, inventory analysis, etc.)

    • Assist in inventory analysis and management with appropriate brand staff in order to ensure product is available for order processing

    • Enter, track and release ASAP and pre-season orders per guidelines and maintain dealer terms programs

    • Process all dealer returns and warranties

       

      PRODUCT AND EVENT RESPONSIBILITES

  • Gain expert technical knowledge of all products and programs

    • Develop communication tools and hard resources to share technical and specific product information with consumers, dealers, Territory Managers, etc.

    • In charge of inventory management and organization for demo fleets and all sample gear

  • Travel may include visits to assigned territories, trade shows, and some consumer and marketing events

    • 5 Years of combined experience in the market

    • Enthusiastic Climber

    • Strong technical aptitude

    • Strong commitment to detail and process

    • Customer Service and/or selling experience preferred

    • Friendly and personable nature required
