Built around a simple idea: Create one unmistakable shape that can do everything—and keep climbers guessing every time they grab it.

Designed by Ty Foose, the Sickle line balances ergonomic comfort, visual identity, and extreme versatility. Each hold features carefully tuned, variable radii that grow fuller toward the edges, keeping them comfortable in every grip position without ever feeling dull or predictable. Nothing sharp. Nothing awkward. Just intentional geometry that rewards movement and body awareness.

Built for Every Wall, Every Move

Sickles are designed to work everywhere:

Slab, Vertical, & Roof
Handholds or Footholds
Rotated, Inverted, or Offset
On Volumes, Edges, or Open Wall

A Shape That Never Tells You the Answer

At a glance, Sickle Holds look familiar. In use, they’re anything but. The subtle curvature and negative profiles make it difficult to read exact incut angles—forcing climbers to commit, adjust, and react in real time. Is it a -15? A -30? You won’t know until you grab it. That ambiguity is the point.

Efficient by design.

Sickle Holds deliver maximum usable surface with minimal material, making them:

  • Cost-effective for commercial gyms
  • Nesting design for efficient shipping and storage
  • Easy on wall real estate

The four sizes in each incut level nest inside one another, stacking cleanly in storage bins. Less clutter.

Less damage risk. More longevity.
