I am writing this review after about six sessions with these gloves. I have used belay gloves for years, and bought these to replace set of fingerless gloves from another manufacturer that I had worn out.
They have broken in well. They were (for me) a little stiff out of the package. I actually exercised with them on once before using them to start the break-in. One minor issue for me is the finger lengths. I am in the XL range on the size chart, but my middle finger is still pressed to the end of the glove. I am hoping it doesn't wear through.
Braking action is good, but requires a little more clamping force than my old gloves.
One more significant complaint is that the neoprene at the seam between the wrist is already tearing. So far no issues with the seam between the mesh and leather on the back of the hand.
Overall, a very comfortable glove with some possible long-term durability issues that I will monitor.
