More about Mike & Mark Anderson:

Mike Anderson

Mike Anderson

Mike has been climbing since the early 1990s, and enjoys all aspects of the sport from bouldering to high-altitude mountaineering. Mike is known for establishing many standard-setting long free routes in Zion, Yosemite, and the Wind Rivers, and for a handful of painful slabby sport routes around the West.  He loves teaching and coaching climbers, which led to co-authoring The Rock Climber’s Training Manual. Mike’s day job is teaching mechanical engineering in Colorado Springs, CO, where he lives with his wife and two sons.

Mark Anderson

Mark helped climbers improve for nearly two decades, and co-authored the Rock Climber’s Training Manual with his brother Mike. He has established more than twenty new 5.14s, and made the third ascent of Rifle’s Shadowboxing, 5.14d. He lives with his wife and two children in Evergreen, CO.
